Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition- The Pathfinder
Released in October 2009, the new Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition comes almost a year after the original 5800 XpressMusic was released. On the exteriors as well the interiors the Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition is exactly the original 5800. What Nokia has tried to do here is that they have included lifetime subscription to pedestrian and vehicle voice-guided navigation licenses along with access to the latest version of the Ovi Maps. Like the original version, this one also comes with a 3.2 inches TFT resistive touchscreen of 16M colours. Built-in are proximity and accelerometer sensors that facilitate auto turn-off and UI auto-rotate. Excluding the 128MB RAM, the internal storage memory of the device rest at 81MB. This can however be expanded very conveniently up to 16GB by using external cards. An 8GB microSD card preloaded with the Ovi Maps is included in the standard sales package.
