Bond Street – Shop like a star

Fashion can make one an admirer, an addict or a devotee. Bond Street has been selling glamour to the world for a period of over 300 years now. Standing in a prominent corner in the jam packed city of London, it still rules the shopping paradise of the specialist style district. It is home to some of the most elegant and glamorous shops in the world like Gucci and Armani. There are also shops selling perfume, jewelry, arts and antiques, some of which are the proud suppliers to the royal family. All in all, they have on offer the best selection of luxurious consumer goods. Not only does Bond Street sell items of the hip and happening fashion cultures, but also continues to create them.

St James's Street and Mount Street, Sotheby's, Fenwick Chappell's, Phillips' are some of the world renowned shops that have their headquarters in Bond Street. Shops selling upscale products of handmade chocolates, leather, perfume, cigars, antiques and art can be found here. Carnaby Street is the famous art shop where John Lennon is said to have first met and fallen in love with Yoko Ono.

Each of these shops has their own set of superstar customers especially the world's famous designer brand shops. Not only will stars drop at their favourite designer wear shops to pick their attire for eventful occasions and award ceremonies, there often will be few others wandering about in Bond Street. Mick and Bianca Jagger, Michael Caine and designer Terence Conran, Victoria Bekham can often be seen at Gucci store or Harrods or Alberta Ferretti's Sloane Street.
